Opposition councilors abstained from voting on the proposed budget, arguing that it is not development-oriented and claiming that expenses have increased while revenues have decreased compared to the previous year.
The budget for the City of Belgrade will amount to 171.64 billion dinars, while the budgets of city municipalities will total 15.37 billion dinars.
The Assembly also approved the Pricing List of Services provided by the organizational units of the City Administration of Belgrade, amendments to the decision on public surface usage fees for the City of Belgrade, amendments to the decision on local communal taxes, and regulations concerning the allocation of construction land for the upcoming year.
Additionally, the Assembly adopted a decision to approve a self-initiated proposal for a public-private partnership project aimed at replacing the city’s trolleybus lines with electric bus routes for passenger transport in Belgrade.
