Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacici stated that a mass attack took place on SNS supporters in front of the party headquarters in Novi Sad and that the police were forced to intervene, during which several officers were injured.
Dacic reported that a pistol was drawn by a warrant officer of the Serbian Armed Forces who, as he stated, was on official duty “providing security for an individual”. “If he hadn’t drawn it, I am certain that both he and others would have lost their lives,” said Dacic.
