In Piperi this morning, residents were left without water and electricity, while strong winds hindered firefighting operations and fanned the flames.

Miodrag Besovic, Director General of the Directorate for Emergency Situations, said it had been an extremely exhausting night for them. He emphasized that fires had been active in several areas of Podgorica, as well as in Bar, Budva, Niksic, Savnik, and Bijelo Polje.
