Vucic and Dodik Discuss Protection of National Interests, Unity, and Strengthening Economic Ties
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met in Belgrade with the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik to discuss strengthening economic ties, national unity, and cooperation between Serbia and Srpska in the coming period.
In an Instagram post, Vucic stated that he and Dodik discussed internal and external pressures on Serbia and Srpska, as well as other important issues for the Serbian people.
The United Nations is calling on all parties to cooperate regarding the situation with the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, in order to ensure the rule of law, said UN Secretary-General’s Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq.
At a session of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH), Milorad Dodik's mandate as President of Republika Srpska was revoked.
Following the meeting, Dodik said that Republika Srpska can always count on Serbia’s support, just as Serbia can count on the support of Srpska.
“I spoke with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, about all the challenges facing Serbia and Srpska, as well as other important issues for the Serbian people,” Dodik wrote on X.
