Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina Revokes Milorad Dodik's Mandate as President of Republika Srpska

At a session of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH), Milorad Dodik's mandate as President of Republika Srpska was revoked.

Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina Revokes Milorad Dodik's Mandate as President of Republika Srpska

"At today's session, the CEC adopted a decision to terminate the mandate of Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, elected in the 2022 elections from the list of the political entity Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik," the CEC BiH stated in a press release following the session.

An appeal against the decision of the Central Election Commission of BiH is allowed.

"Surrender and giving up do not exist. Surrender is not an option," Dodik wrote on his X account.

In its statement, the CEC BiH emphasized that, upon finalization of the decision, it will announce and organize early elections, and the public will be duly informed.
