As stated in the announcement, this incident represents a continuation of the "anti-Serb campaign by Albanian extremists, directed against Serbs and Serbian institutions in Kosovo and Metohija".

"This is the only Serbian clinic in this Serbian enclave, serving several dozen Serbian families, predominantly elderly residents, who are most in need of medical assistance", the statement emphasized.

The Office for Kosovo and Metohija added that local residents are concerned and outraged by the incident, questioning whether this is a message that they are unwelcome there.

"Our representatives on the ground visited the site of the incident and will repair the damage and restore the clinic to operation as soon as possible, so that our people do not suffer the consequences of such actions", the statement said.

The Office for Kosovo and Metohija further stressed that this case is a continuation of an anti-Serb campaign by Albanian extremists, targeting Serbs and Serbian institutions in Kosovo and Metohija, which clearly demonstrates the level of hatred and intolerance, with the explicit aim of preventing the Serbian people from living and surviving in the southern province.

"We are witnessing that the authorities in Pristina, through their anti-Serb actions and rhetoric of hatred, are fueling such incidents and spreading ethnic intolerance. Therefore, it is necessary to raise the level of security in Serbian communities in Kosovo and Metohija, which international missions are obligated to ensure, and for the perpetrators of this act to be identified and appropriately sanctioned as urgently as possible, in order to prevent such and similar outbreaks of violence", the statement from the Office for Kosovo and Metohija concluded
