Vucic called on opposition parties in Serbia to unite and participate together in the next elections, emphasizing that the current government will face them politically and will always accept and recognize the election results.

"Unite all together, show the people and citizens of Serbia what it is you stand for and what your plan and program are, instead of merely insulting, swearing, and spreading falsehoods", Vucic said in a statement to reporters in Baku, where he will participate tomorrow in the 13th World Urban Forum.

He stressed that the current government will not alter the electoral will of the voters.

"The state has shown that no one is protected"

President Aleksandar Vucic stated that the police and the state demonstrated absolute professionalism and respected the presumption of innocence during the investigation into the shooting at a restaurant in Senjak, and that there are no grounds for suspicion that former Belgrade police chief Veselin Milić personally participated in committing the most serious criminal offense, but rather in covering it up. He added that the state reacted quickly in this matter as well and showed that no one is protected.

"The state reacted quickly in this matter too and demonstrated that no one is protected, and that everything will be handled and conducted in accordance with the prosecutor’s instructions", the President of Serbia said.
