The director of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, Dr. Vesna Turkulov, stated that two patients who were seriously injured when a canopy collapsed at the railway station in Novi Sad have been taken off ventilators and are now breathing on their own.
"They can even talk, but we cannot say that they are out of danger. They are stable, but they are undergoing intensive antibiotic therapy and daily dressings. We are doing everything we can to help them recover," said Turkulov.
She emphasized that both the state and the Clinical Center are providing everything necessary for the two patients.
As a reminder, 15 people were killed due to the collapse of the canopy at the railway station in Novi Sad.
