Vucic at the Government Session: April 18 Deadline for Forming a New Cabinet or Elections in Early June

"This means that April 18 is the deadline for forming the Government of Serbia. If that does not happen, elections will be held within 45 to 60 days, meaning that if a government is not formed, elections would take place in early June, on either June 1 or June 8," Vucic said at the government session.

The session began with a moment of silence, after which President Vucic announced that Serbia would provide rapid, strong, and comprehensive assistance to North Macedonia following the fire disaster at a nightclub in Kocani, where 59 people lost their lives and 155 were injured.

Regarding the situation in the country, the President of Serbia emphasized the importance of restoring complete normalcy, stressing that children must continue their education and that the education system must function properly.
