All Serbian Citizens in Myanmar Safe After 7.7 Magnitude Earthquake
All Serbian citizens temporarily residing in Myanmar, as well as the staff of the Serbian Embassy, are safe following the 7.7 magnitude earthquake, according to Gordana Jaksic, the chargé d'affaires at the Serbian Embassy in Yangon.
She made this statement in response to a question from Tanjug regarding whether they were in contact with Serbian nationals living in Myanmar after the earthquake.
"The embassy remains in constant contact with our citizens in Myanmar and will provide them with all necessary assistance and support," Jaksic said.

The earthquake's epicenter was near the city of Mandalay, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The tremors were felt in the capital, Naypyidaw, the largest city, Yangon, as well as in neighboring countries – Bangladesh, India, Thailand, Laos, and China.
At least three people were killed in Bangkok due to the earthquake, while at least 90 are reported missing. A multi-story building under construction collapsed in Bangkok, with seven people rescued so far. Search efforts are hindered by the debris.
