Dubai Airport announced that the first flight from the United Arab Emirates to Serbia, following the suspension of flights due to tensions in the Middle East, departed on Monday at around 11:30 p.m. Central European Time.

The Dubai-based airline Emirates announced on Monday that it is resuming operations by operating a limited number of flights.
“Priority will be given to passengers with prior bookings, and those rebooked onto these limited flights will be contacted directly by Emirates,” the company said in a statement.
The airline urged passengers “not to come to the airport unless they have been notified” and stated that all other flights remain suspended until further notice.
