The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, spoke by phone with the President of the Republic of France, Emmanuel Macron, regarding the enhancement of bilateral relations, and they agreed to meet in April.

Serbian President Spoke by Phone with Emmanuel Macron

"We discussed all aspects of bilateral cooperation between France and Serbia, as well as our country's European path. We both emphasized the importance of further strengthening our relations and, in line with that, agreed to meet in April this year," Vucic stated on Instagram.

He described his conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron as very positive.

"I believe that friendship and partnership with France bring great benefits to the citizens of Serbia," Aleksandar Vucic emphasized.

Macron stated that during the phone call with Vucic, he reiterated his desire for Serbia to continue progressing on its European path.

"We discussed bilateral topics and reviewed the situation following his recent meetings in Brussels. I reiterated my desire for Serbia to continue advancing on its European path," Macron wrote on X.

Macron posted this message in both French and Serbian.
