An agreement between Serbia and Hungary in the field of defense was signed at the Serbia Palace, in the presence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
The agreement on strategic defense cooperation was signed by Serbian Minister of Defense Bratislav Gasic and Hungarian Minister of Defense Kristóf Salai-Bobrovnicki.
President Aleksandar Vucic stated that the signed document operationalizes and concretizes the strategic cooperation agreement in the field of defense reached in 2023.
"I am honored to have the opportunity to speak with and host Kristóf Salai-Bobrovnicki, the Hungarian Minister of Defense. This is a continuation of our very important cooperation. The strategic defense cooperation between Serbia and Hungary is one of the most important aspects of our comprehensive strategic cooperation with all the countries in the region. Serbia has the most developed and intensive defense cooperation with Hungary, in terms of the number and significance of joint activities," said Vucic.
The signing of the agreement was also attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilovic.
Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric stated at the UN Security Council session that the fundamental rights of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are not only being ignored but are being systematically dismantled, piece by piece.
