Boy Marek Sells Cakes to Help Girl Injured in Roof Canopy Collapse
Marek, a young boy from Backi Petrovac, is organizing a charitable cake sale for the fourth consecutive year ahead of Easter, with the help of his mother and grandmother. This year, the money raised will be donated to Teodora, who was injured in the collapse of the roof canopy in Novi Sad.
Marek's mother, Milota Palenkas, told Newsmax Balkans that they spent four days preparing the cakes, with Marek receiving help from her and his grandmother.
"We made the cakes together, but Marek did most of the work – from morning until night," she emphasized.
