He emphasized the expectation that the upcoming period will bring visible results in Serbia’s accession process, especially considering the country’s clearly defined strategic goals.
"Serbia remains committed to European integration and the strengthening of regional cooperation," said Macut, according to a government press release.
Ambassador Giaufret congratulated Prime Minister Macut on his appointment and highlighted that the Western Balkans remain a strategic priority for the European Union, and that Serbia’s future is unequivocally within the EU.
Giaufret stressed the great importance the EU places on Serbia’s continued and genuine commitment to European integration.
