A large number of citizens lit candles, and at the monument to six of the victims in one of the villages, wreaths and flowers were laid, including by Serbian Prime Minister Djuro Macut and Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran, and Social Affairs Milica Djurdjevic Stamenkovski, who had previously also lit candles in Dubona. They also spoke with the families of the victims.

After the memorial for the victims, a remembrance program titled “The Immortal” began, during which videos of young people speaking about their late friends were shown.

Following the video, the poem "Perhaps He Sleeps" by Vladislav Petkovic Dis was read, followed by a moment of silence for the massacre victims. The names of those severely injured that night were then read aloud, and the opening program concluded with the release of several dozen white balloons into the sky.

In a first-instance verdict by the Higher Court in Smederevo, Blazic was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
