The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic stated that by forcefully raiding the Regional Waterworks in Zubin Potok, Albin Kurti has continued a spiral of violence and persecution against the Serbian people, as well as the dismantling of Serbian institutions.

After a meeting with ambassadors and representatives of the Quint countries, Petkovic said the discussion was difficult and noted that he had urgently requested it following the latest violent and escalatory move by Pristina – the raid by Kosovo police on the Regional Waterworks in Zubin Potok.
The Director emphasized that the waterworks is a significant Serbian project employing 30 workers, and it supplies water to Serbian, Albanian, and other non-Albanian residents in Zvecan, Zubin Potok, and the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.

Petkovic recalled that Kosovo police had also stormed the local waterworks in Kosovska Mitrovica the previous day, which employs 84 workers, and added that in the recent period, they have also raided other Serbian areas, shutting down institutions related to sports and youth.
"It is clear that Kurti, who has been especially nervous these days because he cannot constitute institutions due to a lack of majority, is trying to cover that up with new attacks on Serbs," said Petkovic.
In the afternoon, Kosovo police also entered the Sports Hall in North Mitrovica.
Dozens of police officers demanded that the building be immediately evacuated, causing outrage among employees and fear among the children who were in the middle of their regular training.
