Joint Training of Serbian and U.S. Civil-Military Cooperation Specialists
A tactical civil-military cooperation course is being held at the "Jug" base near Bujanovac, attended by officers and non-commissioned officers from the Serbian Armed Forces and the United States European Command.
According to the Serbian Ministry of Defence, the course aims to further train specialists in civil-military cooperation to perform functional tasks in peacekeeping operations under the auspices of the United Nations and the European Union.

During the eight-day training at the Jug base and the Borovac training ground, participants will gain new knowledge about the activities of civilian organizations operating in peacekeeping zones and undergo practical training for working in various positions within civil-military cooperation teams and units.

The training is conducted by a joint team of instructors from the Serbian Armed Forces and the U.S. Armed Forces, along with guest lecturers from the Emergency Situations Sector of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior.
"Joint training of military personnel is one of the key areas of successful bilateral military cooperation between Serbia and the United States. It aims to enhance the capabilities and interoperability of the armed forces, and to strengthen mutual understanding and trust," the Ministry of Defense stated.
