This represents a decrease of 54.85% compared to the same period last year.
In 2024, a total of 7,442 migrants were registered, according to the announcement.
Regarding gender and age structure, the most represented group in 2025 are adult males, followed by male minors, adult females, and female minors. By country of origin, the majority are citizens of Afghanistan, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, and Morocco.
The statement notes that currently there are seven operational reception and asylum centers. Of these, two are designated for housing families, one is for unaccompanied minors, and one is designated for Ukrainian nationals.
All centers provide comprehensive support to migrants in accordance with capacity and needs—including accommodation, food, basic healthcare, psychosocial support, legal assistance, information, as well as educational and recreational activities.
Support is also provided for voluntary return to the country of origin.
A total of 307 individuals are currently housed in these centers, which is below 10% of the total accommodation capacity managed by the Commissariat.
