The Serbian national airline now operates flights to the second-largest city in Switzerland three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Additionally, during July and August, flights will also be available on Sundays, the company stated in a press release.
"By connecting the Serbian capital with Geneva, we are contributing to the strengthening of relations between the two countries and enabling easier travel. A significant number of citizens with origins from the Western Balkans region live in Switzerland, and we believe this direct route will be extremely useful for them," said Bosko Rupic, Air Serbia’s Director of Commercial and Strategy.
According to the announcement, Air Serbia offers strong connectivity from Geneva, via Belgrade, to cities such as Athens, Budapest, Dubrovnik, Ankara, Heraklion, Istanbul, Larnaca, Ljubljana, Malta, Ohrid, Bucharest, Pula, Rhodes, Sarajevo, Thessaloniki, Skopje, Sofia, Split, Tbilisi, Podgorica, Tirana, Tivat, Varna, Vienna, Zagreb, and many other cities.
