Ministry of Defense: Suspension of Arms Exports Produced in Serbia

"In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, and the Chair of the National Security Council, Aleksandar Vucic, the export of weapons and military equipment produced in Serbia is hereby suspended," the statement said.

It is further stated that, going forward, in addition to the approvals of the competent ministries and agencies, the export of military equipment and weapons produced in the defense industry factories will also require the approval of the National Security Council, in accordance with Article 16, Paragraph 4 of the Law on the Export and Import of Arms and Military Equipment.
