The Government of Serbia has adopted a regulation limiting retail margins in trade chains to 20% for products in 23 categories.

As previously announced by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, the regulation includes milk and dairy products, mixed products, eggs, non-alcoholic beverages and tea, fresh fruits and vegetables, processed fruits and vegetables, bread and baked goods, legumes, frozen products, fresh and processed meat, fresh and processed fish, savory snacks, sweet snacks and cereals, sugar and honey, flour and pasta.
It also includes oils and fats, vinegar, rice, salt and spices, household chemicals, paper and kitchen goods, personal hygiene and cosmetics, baby food, and diapers.
