Students from Serbia Win Three Medals at the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics

At the 9th European Junior Olympiad in Informatics (EJOI), held from August 29 to September 4 in Shumen, which gathered 96 competitors from 24 European countries, students from Serbia won three bronze medals.

Students from Serbia Win Three Medals at the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics

The medals were won by Irina Stanisic from the First Kragujevac Gymnasium, Mihajlo Janicic, a student of "Starina Novak" Elementary School in Belgrade, and Lazar Nikic, a student of the Sabac Gymnasium.

A member of the Serbian team was also Veljko Vitkovac, a student at "Jovan Popovic" Elementary School in Krusevac.

The team leaders were Milica Nastic from "Andra Savcic" Elementary School in Valjevo and Ognjen Tesic from the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Belgrade.

The selection of contestants, preparations, and participation in the competition were organized by the Mathematical Society of Serbia, with the support of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications.
