Eight-Year-Old Viktor from Leskovac Has Won Over 50 Medals in Athletics, His Role Model Is Bolt
Eight-year-old boy Viktor Kostic from Leskovac is a great sports talent and potential, confirmed by more than 50 medals won in athletics and about 20 in football—the sports he trains simultaneously.
The father of the talented boy, who is also his coach, Marko Kostic, spoke to Newsmax Balkans about Viktor’s path of progress and success. Viktor first tried athletics before he was three years old, and recently became a member of the athletics club "Partizan".

Talking about being a coach to his own child, Kostic pointed out that it is a unique situation.
“It’s not exactly a coach-athlete relationship, but overall it’s good because we are always together and can quickly coordinate everything with his school obligations,” he said.
He added that Viktor makes many sacrifices as he trains both athletics and football simultaneously.

“He trains football three times a week and athletics three times a week. Depending on his schedule, as sometimes we have different school shifts, and in Leskovac there are no adequate conditions for athletics training and serious work. That is a big problem for us, so we use various parks and forests,” Kostic noted.
He is serious when the race starts, and when it ends, he moves like Usain Bolt because he is his idol, says Viktor’s dad.
