Serbian Parliament adopts the 2026 budget and a set of laws

The Serbian Parliament has adopted the Budget Law for 2026, and state revenues for next year will amount to 2.4147 trillion dinars, which is 2.9 percent, or 68.5 billion dinars, more than the revenues projected by this year’s original budget.

Serbian Parliament adopts the 2026 budget and a set of laws

Members of Parliament concluded the third session of the second regular sitting by voting on all 58 items on the agenda.

The most important law adopted is the 2026 budget, and along with it a set of tax laws, laws in the fields of energy, organic production, statistics, the Serbian Armed Forces, and textbooks.

Members of Parliament elected Milan Antonijevic as Commissioner for the Protection of Equality.

Total budget expenditures will amount to 2.7517 trillion dinars, resulting in a fiscal deficit of 337 billion dinars, or three percent of the gross domestic product (GDP).

The projected economic growth rate is three percent.

The budget for next year allocates 6.7 percent for capital investments, and as Finance Minister Sinisa Mali emphasized, the state and local governments will allocate around 740 billion dinars for these investments.
