A third-year student of the Textile School in Leskovac has passed away after being assaulted. Police arrested an 18-year-old from Leskovac on suspicion of committing the murder.
The suspect is accused of delivering multiple blows with his hands and feet to the victim's head and body, causing severe life-threatening injuries to which the young man succumbed.
Dr. Nebojsa Dimitrijevic, Director of the General Hospital in Leskovac, confirmed to Newsmax Balkans that the victim, born in 2007, was brought to the Emergency Center unconscious, with dilated pupils, pale skin and mucosa, no pulse, and undetectable blood pressure.
"Intensive resuscitation efforts by the Emergency Medicine Service began immediately. Unfortunately, the young man passed away," he stated.
The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that a 15-year-old boy was with the arrested teenager during the incident but did not participate in the fight and is considered a witness.
