The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, speaking about the calling of snap parliamentary elections, told Radio Television of Serbia that they would be held sometime between September and November.

"More precisely, between late September and mid-November", Vucic said regarding the timing of the elections.

He emphasized that he would recognize the election results regardless of how Serbian citizens decide.

"I invite people to vote for students, educated young people. They will also be on our list", said the President of Serbia.

He added that he would never give up on dialogue.

Measures for Pensioners

Vucic announced upcoming measures for pensioners, saying their financial situation would improve significantly, although he could not yet discuss the details. He stated that this would happen within two or three months and stressed that the measures would not require the state to take on additional debt.

According to him, the truth is that Serbia is a country with relatively low debt, and that many European countries have a higher level of public debt than Serbia.

He also announced major changes in the healthcare sector. He said pharmaceutical companies had made profits exceeding two billion. The president added that measures would also be introduced to make medications for circulation, heart conditions, and supplements more accessible to citizens.

"In the next 10 days, or rather 12 or 13 days because of the visit to China, we will present these measures", the president said.

Vucic stated that, instead of investing all the money into a single hospital facility, funds would now be distributed among a larger number of local healthcare centers to renovate waiting rooms and restrooms.

"I want us to show this kind of care for people’s health, because not everyone goes to clinical centers", Vucic said, adding that efforts are also being made to reduce waiting times in clinics.

"The Body Found in Indjija 99 Percent Belongs to Missing Nesovic - We Are Waiting for DNA Results"

At the beginning of his appearance on RTS, Vučić commented on the case of the missing Aleksandar Nesovic, known as “Baja.”

He stated that the prosecutor had requested detention for the dismissed head of the Belgrade police, Veselin Milic.

The Serbian president said he was proud that the Serbian state had shown strength and determination by arresting everyone involved in the Senjak shooting case, without exception and without any cover-up.

"And now I ask all the others, and I will get to what we are doing, all these liars who misled the public for three days. You have a police officer publicly claiming that someone was walled up somewhere at Expo and I don’t know what else. All these liars and all those who tried to mislead the public with various conspiracy theories should think carefully about whether they are encouraging certain monsters to commit similar acts in the future", Vucic told RTS.

The President of Serbia praised all police officers who participated in the search and found the body.

"These were acts committed by monsters. Whoever the victim may have been, he was neither an academic nor someone without a criminal record, but to do something like this in such a manner is a horrific crime. No one should die like this. During the operation, they involved at least one more person who tried to lead the investigation in the wrong direction, talking about the Sava River so that we would search there. Once we realized it was deception, we focused on Indjija. We noticed burned material in one area and found a barrel in Indjija. The barrel had been cut open, the body curled up inside, and it had previously been burned to reduce the amount of blood, but DNA testing is underway. We can confirm with about 99.9 percent certainty that it is Aleksandar Nesović, who had been missing", he said regarding the body found in a barrel in Indjija.

He added that all those who tried to deceive the public should consider whether they are encouraging similar "monsters".

"We know it is Nesovic’s body based on the clothing he was wearing", he emphasized, adding that DNA confirmation is still pending.

"We Will Crack Down on ‘Dirty Cops’; State Measures Will Be Strict and Severe"

The President of Serbia stated that the state would crack down on all "dirty cops", and that everyone who lied, misled the public, or participated in protecting criminals would no longer be able to work as police officers.

"We do not want a tycoon-controlled police force engaging in business schemes. That is only one, two, or three percent of them, while 97 percent are honorable, good, and honest police officers", Vucic emphasized in his interview with RTS.

He said that the state’s measures would be very strict and severe, and that a law would be passed to prevent broad or narrow interpretations through various rulebooks, ensuring strict, mandatory, and completely clear norms that cannot be undermined by secondary legislation.

Vucic stressed that this would be a difficult fight.

"The question is how this will end. I promise that I will fight. Who will be the winner, we shall see. This is not a simple battle", Vucic stated.
