Newsmax Balkans recognized the importance of the initiative by the foundation of Natasa Kovacevic, an athlete who has become an inspiration to many, especially children. And not just an inspiration, but also support.
Thanks to her efforts and the help of sponsors, colleagues, and friends, eight children received dynamic prostheses and the opportunity to enjoy their childhood like all other children, despite the challenges they face.
Natasa Kovacevic, an athlete who didn't give up on sports despite the amputation of her leg, is confident that this initiative will continue in the coming years.
"Dynamic prostheses are much more comfortable. Children can actively engage in sports. They can play football, basketball, or simply run with their friends in the yard and lead a normal life like all other children. Over the past two years, and now entering the third year, we have helped eight children. And now I would like you to imagine eight different destinies, eight little heroes who have overcome all those difficult life moments and eight smiles we managed to bring out," said Kovacevic.
In less than three months since its launch, the Newsmax Balkans portal has achieved great success - winning 7th place in the audience vote for the best regional news portal of 2024, while the jury ranked it in 8th place.
Newsmax Balkans television did not miss the opportunity to support the humanitarian action "Let All Children Jump," and we have become proud recipients of the award for socially responsible business.
"For me personally, it is a great privilege to be here today, representing my home station and receiving the first recognition for Newsmax Balkans television for social responsibility. I believe this is just the first of many awards that will come our way. The 'Let All Children Jump' initiative showed the beauty and strength of solidarity and unity, changed the lives of eight children, and showed us how we can all be the change we want to see. As a television station, we will certainly continue to support such initiatives that bring hope and smiles to those who need them the most," said the host of the morning program "Open Your Eyes," Mihajlo Pavic.
At one time, we hosted Maria Filipovic, a girl who became an ambassador for the foundation, in our Morning Program. Like Natasa Kovacevic, she does not give up on her dreams. Just as we never give up on our mission to always support true values and humane people.
