Students from Belgrade universities began a walk to Novi Sad with the aim of supporting their peers in blocking all three bridges in the city, marking three months since the collapse of the canopy at the Novi Sad railway station, which resulted in the death of 15 people and left two others seriously
The students gathered in front of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, from where they started their walk around 10 a.m. The plan is to arrive in Novi Sad by Friday evening.
Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will fully secure the walking route, announced Minister Ivica Dacic.
