Serbian Military Aircraft Brings Injured from North Macedonia Fire to Belgrade

A Serbian military CASA C-295 aircraft transported 12 patients injured in the nightclub fire in Kocani, North Macedonia, to Belgrade, where they will receive treatment at the Military Medical Academy (VMA) and the Clinical Center of Serbia.

Serbian Military Aircraft Brings Injured from North Macedonia Fire to Belgrade

Nine of the injured were admitted to Serbia’s Emergency Center, while three were taken to the VMA.

Previously, an aircraft carrying four doctors and four medical technicians was dispatched to North Macedonia for the medical evacuation of the injured.

Additionally, two patients transported by military medical vehicles from North Macedonia are currently receiving treatment at the Military Hospital in Nis and the Clinical Center in Nis.

To further assist the injured, two doctors from the VMA – a plastic surgeon and an anesthesiologist – as well as a surgical technician, will remain in North Macedonia.

The fire at the "Puls" nightclub in Kocani broke out on Sunday at around 3 a.m. during a concert. According to the latest information, 59 people lost their lives, and 155 were injured, 22 of whom are in critical condition.
