The European Union (EU) strongly regrets the presence of Serbian leadership in Moscow and their participation in the celebration of the victory in World War II, which Russia uses for propaganda purposes, stated European Commission spokesperson Guillaume Mercier.
"The EU has been crystal clear with our partners, including candidate countries like Serbia: relations with Russia cannot be business as usual with Putin’s regime, in the shadow of Russia’s unjustified aggression against Ukraine," the spokesperson said.
