The Ambassador of Serbia to the United States, Dragan Sutanovac, met with Congressman Brian Mast, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, to discuss the strategic partnership between Serbia and the United States.

He wrote on his Instagram profile that Mast, as chairman of this committee, oversees key aspects of U.S. foreign policy — from arms negotiations with other countries and oversight of diplomacy, to humanitarian aid and global security.
"Given the broad scope of his responsibilities in foreign policy, our conversation was extremely important. We exchanged views on the possibilities of a strategic partnership between Serbia and the United States, with a shared belief that the time has come to move beyond entrenched perceptions and take concrete steps toward more stable and stronger relations," Sutanovac wrote on Instagram.
