The EXPO 2027 Playground has opened: More than 130 countries expected to participate
At the Belgrade Fair, in Hall 5, the EXPO 2027 Playground has officially opened, a space that depicts the vision of the EXPO 2027 Belgrade exhibition in a special and inspiring way.
The Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali said that EXPO is Serbia's biggest development opportunity, and that more than 130 countries are expected to participate.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali opened the investment conference “Investment Conference – Expo Osaka 2025” in Osaka, inviting Japanese companies to come to Serbia, describing it as “a country that serves as a bridge between East and West".

The EXPO Playground was officially opened by the Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali and the director of the EXPO 2027 company, Dusan Borovcanin, by pressing a button on a led screen.
"EXPO is our chance to prove how united we are. EXPO is a chance to show unity and harmony, that no one can divide us and that we will be the center of the world in 2027," he pointed out and added that Belgrade and Serbia will be the center of the world in 2027.

Hall 5 covers 2,300 square meters. It will be open to all citizens, delegations, everyone who wants to come, said the minister.
"From 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. you will have the opportunity to see everything we have done and are doing that is related to the EXPO project, to see how Serbia had presented itself throughout history. Here we will talk with the delegations about their participation in the EXPO 2027 project, everything related to their participation," Mali said.
The director of the EXPO 2027 company, Dusan Borovcanin, pointed out that the EXPO Playground is becoming a place for exploring ideas and will have multiple roles, primarily in bringing EXPO 2027 closer to the citizens of Serbia.
