In addition to Bolt, other major domestic and international figures from the fields of sports, music, science, and the arts will also serve as brand ambassadors, according to the organizers of the Specialized Exhibition.
These prominent individuals from around the world will, over the next two years, promote the exhibition to their audiences in the best possible way.
"The first such star is already confirmed – the first ambassador of EXPO 2027, Usain Bolt, the fastest man on the planet and a symbol of sporting spirit, discipline, and universal inspiration. A multiple world and Olympic champion, Bolt will lend his name to Belgrade over the next two years, sending a message that our capital is a world-class host. EXPO also promotes the very values he embodies through his life and career – play, movement, unity, and humanity," the statement said.
The role of brand ambassadors is precisely to increase visibility and help convey the messages of EXPO 2027 to a global audience in an authentic way, inviting the world to the host city – in this case, to our very own Belgrade.
"While we speculate that one of the upcoming ambassadors joining our exhibition and our country might be a famous football player or Hollywood actor, we are equally excited to welcome our own globally renowned athletes, musicians, artists, and scientists to the team. Thanks to the remarkable individuals in these fields, our country has long been known around the world," the statement added.
"Given that Serbia is expected to welcome more than 4 million visitors from at least 120 countries, they will have the opportunity to experience the cultures and programs prepared by countries across the globe, to enjoy themselves, learn something new, and over the course of the 93-day event, see many world-famous stars from the realms of sports and art, and even hear from some of today’s greatest minds," the statement concluded.
