Vucic previously announced that the legendary athlete and multiple Olympic champion Usain Bolt would be one of the ambassadors of the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027, which will be held in Belgrade, emphasizing that this is a great achievement for Serbia.
President of Serbia said that Bolt’s arrival has elevated the promotion of EXPO to a spectacular level.

Bolt stated that he was honored to be invited to serve as an ambassador for the Expo.
"After the conversation I had with the President (Vucic) earlier, we discussed the expansion of all of this and how Serbia will continue to develop. Among other things, we talked about Belgrade Waterfront, that beautiful part of this city, and I’m glad to be part of it and to help introduce more people to the beauty of Serbia," Bolt told reporters at the Palace of Serbia.
The first International Planning Meeting (IPM) for participation in the Specialized Exhibition EXPO 2027 in Belgrade has concluded, bringing together more than 400 delegates from as many as 154 countries around the world, according to a statement by the company "EXPO2027".
The Director of EXPO 2027 Belgrade, Dusan Borovcanin, announced that on June 17, the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) will be held in Paris, where the adoption of the international See Agreement between Serbia and the BIE is expected.
