Vucic Meets with Bocan-Harcenko: High-Level Meeting Between Serbian and Russian Leaderships Soon

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Aleksandr Bocan-Kharchenko, with whom, as he stated, he discussed all topics of interest to both countries, particularly in light of the upcoming high-level meeting between the leaderships of the two states.

According to him, this meeting should take place as soon as possible.

“We discussed all topics of interest to both countries, particularly in light of the high-level meeting between the leaderships of the two states, which should take place in the near future,” Vucic wrote on Instagram.

He emphasized that Serbia remains committed to developing friendly relations with Russia, with a clear determination to preserve peace and political stability in the Western Balkans region, especially in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

President Vucic Speaks by Phone with Maduro

The President of Serbia had a telephone conversation with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and underlined that Serbia highly values Venezuela’s principled and consistent support in safeguarding Serbia’s territorial integrity and in not recognizing the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo.

“A good and substantive conversation with a great friend of Serbia, President Maduro, on current global challenges, the need to preserve multilateralism, and strengthening the bilateral relations between our countries,” Vucic stated.

According to him, he also discussed with Maduro the possibilities of enhancing cooperation in all areas with great potential for joint progress and dynamic development of the two countries.

“I am confident that in the years ahead we will continue to nurture this valuable friendship, to build bridges of cooperation and solidarity, and to contribute together to a better and more connected future for our peoples,” Vucic emphasized.
