The Supreme Court in Pristina dismissed the appeal filed by two CEC members from Self-Determination against the decision of the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel to certify the Serb List for the October 12 local elections.
On August 26, Self-Determination submitted an appeal to the Supreme Court in Pristina against the decision of the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel, which had instructed the CEC to approve the participation of the Serb List in the local elections in Kosovo and Metohija scheduled for October 12.
On August 24, the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel annulled the CEC’s decision to reject the certification of Serb List candidates, which had been based on the assessment that they did not meet the legal requirements for participation in the elections.
