At the Law Faculty, participants paused for 16 minutes of silence in remembrance of the victims of the roof collapse at the train station in Novi Sad. Belgrade Pride this year again emphasized demands such as: improved healthcare services for trans people, quick and adequate reactions from state authorities and public condemnation from government officials regarding hate speech and hate crimes against the LGBT+ community, and the explicit recognition of LGBT+ individuals in local action plans as one of the vulnerable social groups.

Organizers also demand an official apology to all citizens of Serbia who were prosecuted before 1994 due to their sexual orientation or gender identity, as well as education and awareness programs for youth on these topics, and free and accessible pre-exposure and post-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP and PEP).
One of the demands is also that the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs urgently standardize the “Field Associate” service.
