More Than 94 Million Passengers in the Third Quarter This Year at Belgrade Airport

More than 27,200 takeoffs and landings were recorded, a 4.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to an official statement.

In the first three quarters of this year, Belgrade Airport served 6.8 million passengers, which is 5.8% more than in the same period last year, with a total of over 68,300 takeoffs and landings — 4.3% more than in the same period in 2024, the "Belgrade Airport" company said in a statement.

In August this year, Belgrade Airport recorded more than one million passengers in a single month for the first time, while on August 1 a daily record was set with over 37,000 passengers served.

These results continue the record-breaking performance from last year and the first half of this year, and the steady increase in traffic confirms the justification for the airport’s expansion and modernization works carried out over the past five years.

"Vinci Airports", the company managing Nikola Tesla Airport, announced that in the third quarter of this year, more than 94 million passengers passed through the airports it operates worldwide — an increase of 3.8 million, or 4.2%, compared to the same period last year.
