"I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, in Brussels," Brnabic wrote.
The Government of Serbia announced that it has adopted the Draft Budget for 2026, which envisions total revenues and income of 2,414.7 billion dinars, an increase of 2%, or 68.5 billion dinars, compared to the revenues projected in the original budget for this year.
The recommendations of the European Commission from previous years remain valid, and Serbia has met the criteria for opening Cluster 3 (competitiveness and inclusive growth), which is technically ready to be opened, according to the draft version of the EC’s 2025 Enlargement Policy Report.
She noted that she had good discussions with her interlocutor about Serbia’s European path.
"We will continue our joint work on reforms that will benefit our citizens. Serbia’s strategic foreign policy goal remains EU membership, and we will work on that even more strongly than before," Brnabic wrote on her Instagram profile.
