"I attended the dinner at the invitation of Newsmax owner Chris Ruddy, and what I can immediately say is that President Donald Trump, even in an informal setting and even when surrounded by his closest friends, is clearly working at full intensity", said Medic, reporting from the United States.

During the evening, he added, Donald Trump practically never let go of his phone.

"He was constantly communicating with his team and officials, which shows how high on his priority list the negotiations on a possible peace agreement in Ukraine currently are", our reporter noted.

An interesting detail he learned from people in Trump’s circle is that the president sleeps only about three hours a night, which, they say, becomes almost routine when he is involved in major diplomatic processes.

"During the evening, Chris Ruddy introduced me to the president as a journalist from the Newsmax Balkans TV channel in Serbia, and Trump reacted with obvious enthusiasm when Serbia was mentioned-which, I must admit, was a special moment for me and something I am very proud of. People on his team also know well that Serbia is the European country where Trump enjoys the greatest support and popularity, and this is clearly followed closely here", Ognjen Medic emphasized.

The atmosphere at the dinner, he noted, was festive but also very business-oriented. The topic of Ukraine dominated all conversations.

"From what I could see and hear, President Trump has significantly intensified his diplomatic activities in recent days. Frequent phone calls, quick consultations, and insistence on details show that he wants to speed up a process that could open space for a new peace framework. His team is in intensive communication with international partners, and the impression is that they are working on a possible set of initial steps that could lead toward calming the situation on the ground", our journalist said.
