President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated that the country has officially entered an election year today and that elections will be held within, at most, one year.
Speaking to reporters in the village of Tolici, where he visited the Jankovic family, Vucic said it remains to be seen whether the elections will be only parliamentary or both presidential and parliamentary, adding that the competent institutions will decide that.
He said that what remains now are only the preparations for the elections and determining who will take part in them.
The last parliamentary elections were held in December 2023.
