Air Serbia has once again been named the Best Airline in Eastern Europe, according to the results of a prestigious survey by the American magazine Global Traveler, which specialises in travel trends, reviews, and guides aimed at business travellers.
This prestigious recognition has been awarded to the national airline for the second consecutive year, based on more than one million votes from respondents who evaluated travel experiences between 12 December 2024 and 31 August 2025.
Global Traveler magazine is widely recognised as a credible authority in assessing airline service quality, and its readers are travellers who frequently use business class and highly value comfort, reliability, and personalised service.

Awards based on this survey are considered among the most significant accolades in the aviation industry. The award ceremony will be held on 17 December in Florida.
"It is a great honour for us that the esteemed magazine Global Traveler has once again recognised the quality of our work. In a dynamic environment, passenger habits are changing. They want simpler and faster processes, digital support, and a high level of comfort, while also valuing flexibility and corporate responsibility. Our role is to recognise, anticipate, and exceed these expectations, while maintaining unsurpassed service quality and consistently positive experiences, regardless of the flight length. By nurturing the best of our business tradition, while remaining open to innovation, we will continue to set new standards in the aviation industry", said Jiří Marek, CEO of Air Serbia.
Air Serbia achieved an exceptional result on 02 November – it carried four million passengers since the beginning of 2025, which is almost two weeks earlier than last year, when the four-millionth passenger was recorded only on 15 November.
With over 1.1 million readers, Global Traveler connects leading global brands with business travellers from the United States. According to MediaMark Research (GfK MRI) data, the average net income of its readers is 2.8 million dollars, and 6% of them hold executive positions or are company owners.
Global Traveler has been awarding its prizes since 2004, based on a survey in which readers vote for their favourite airlines through open-ended questionnaires.
