Air Serbia Expands Its Network in the Adriatic: Direct Flights to the Island of Brač
Air Serbia will launch a direct flight route between Belgrade and one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Adriatic coast - the island of Brač- during the upcoming summer season.
With this seasonal route, the national airline further expands its offering to attractive Adriatic destinations and makes it easier for passengers to reach popular resorts.
Flights between Belgrade and Brač will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 20 June to 12 September. Tickets are on sale from today through Air Serbia’s direct sales channels and authorised ticketing agents.
Brač, known for its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear sea, and authentic Mediterranean atmosphere, stands out especially for the famous Golden Cape beach, one of the most recognisable beaches in Europe.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated, in response to criticism from certain media outlets claiming that "Serbia is Israel’s arms factory", that both Israelis and Arabs are Serbia’s friends and that he would not comment further on such claims.
Serbian Patriarch Porfirije has sent a letter to Pope Leo XIV, Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as other important European and global leaders, calling on them to prevent the implementation of the so-called law on foreigners imposed by Pristina.
The island is popular with tourists seeking a relaxed holiday, as well as a range of outdoor activities, including water sports, sailing, hiking, and enjoying traditional Dalmatian cuisine.
With the introduction of direct flights to Brač, Air Serbia further strengthens its presence in Croatia and the tourism market, building on existing routes to Split, Dubrovnik, Rijeka, Pula, Zadar, and Zagreb. The new flight route offers passengers numerous connections via Belgrade to destinations across Air Serbia’s extensive network, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Rome, Frankfurt, Milan, Oslo, Prague, Vienna, Zurich, and many more.
