The main hearing has been concluded, and the continuation of the trial has been scheduled for May 11 at 9 a.m., when the presentation of written evidence will resume.

"I will not comment on their content, as this is a sensitive evidentiary procedure, and I believe it is not appropriate for the details to be made public", said Irina Borovic, defense attorney for the Kecmanovic family.

Attorney and legal representative of three families, Zora Dobricanin, stated that the trial was demanding, emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausting.

"We concluded it in the best possible way. It is a powerful mix of emotions – after such a difficult day, I leave satisfied, because we obtained what we feared we might not have", said Dobricanin.

She added that concrete evidence had been confirmed.

"Following today’s proceedings, we have arrived at solid, concrete evidence supporting the confirmation of the indictment. My impression is that we will all sleep more peacefully, as we have received an answer to the question "why", the attorney emphasized, adding that in her view they are "at least partially closer to justice, which is within reach".

Attorney Marko Jankovic, representing the families of the victims, also believes that closing arguments will follow soon.

"We are getting closer to a verdict of the same kind. Photographs and video recordings have been presented, and I believe that closing arguments will follow in the near future. There is still a considerable amount of evidence that can be presented, especially considering that this is a repeated first-instance proceeding", the attorney stated.
