Serbia and Kazakhstan Sign Ten Cooperation Documents, Presidents Highlight the Friendship Between the Two Nations

Representatives of Serbia and Kazakhstan signed and exchanged ten agreements and memorandums at the Serbia Palace, in the presence of Presidents Aleksandar Vucic and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

President Vucic stated at a press conference that the friendship between Serbia and Kazakhstan is based not only on respect for the United Nations Charter but also on the deep friendship between the two peoples and the new projects they will undertake in the interest of both countries.
Vucic said they had a very constructive discussion and that both are concerned about the potential escalation of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Expressing gratitude to Kazakhstan for its support of Serbia's territorial integrity, as well as on other institutional matters, Vucic emphasized that Serbia will always be a sincere friend to Kazakhstan.
"We will never forget that you were on the side of our country when it wasn't easy," said Vucic.

According to him, they also discussed cooperation in the fields of defense, agriculture, energy, industry, Kazakhstan's investments in real estate in Belgrade, and air transport. Vucic announced that Serbia would offer subsidies for flights between Belgrade and Astana.
President Tokayev stated that Serbia is a reliable partner for Kazakhstan in the Balkans, and that the relations between the two countries are characterized by mutual respect and support.
He also expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation in several areas, including defense.
Tokayev described his visit to Serbia as "an important step towards further strengthening the ties between the two nations."
He added that the specialized exhibition "Expo 2027" is a significant event reflecting Serbia's strong international position and that of President Vucic.
Tokayev invited Vucic for an official visit to Kazakhstan in 2025.
