Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who presided over the National Security Council session, stated that the government will do everything in its power to safeguard the security and safety of its citizens amid the complex global geopolitical situation.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic reported after the session that the security situation in Serbia is stable but burdened by numerous challenges, both external and internal.

Speaking about the domestic security situation, Dacic reiterated that peaceful public gatherings are permitted under the law and constitution. However, any breach of public order, threats to national security and state institutions, or attacks on law enforcement will be treated as assaults on officials performing their duties.
