By pressing a button, they drew back the curtains, revealing a view of the entire city from the 41st floor.

Special elevators will take visitors directly from the Galerija shopping mall to the observation deck, which offers a full 360° panorama and an authentic experience of the metropolis from a bird’s-eye perspective.

The top of Kula Beograd is becoming a new tourist attraction of the capital with the opening of the "Belgrade 360 Deck."

It is the highest point in the city, located at an altitude of 168 meters within the Belgrade Waterfront complex.

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated that the Belgrade Waterfront project has achieved incredible success and emphasized that "we have created the most beautiful area in Southeast Europe."

"There are countless figures we could present that speak to the remarkable success of this entire project – not only from the perspective that is obvious to everyone, which is how this area looks today compared to how it looked about ten years ago. From a place and gathering point for those fleeing the law, from a snake-infested marshland and everything else, we have created the most beautiful part of Southeast Europe,” Vucic said at the ceremony, also attended by the founder and chairman of Eagle Hills, Mohamed Alabbar.

Vucic stressed that this project succeeded thanks to the citizens of Serbia and to those who persevered in their dreams of such progress.

"What guided me from the very beginning – I was younger then and had more energy – is that I knew I was absolutely right about one thing: you must always have big dreams. Those dreams must not be directed against anyone, but toward creating good deeds, sometimes even miracles, that will leave a mark in our history. No matter what anyone says or how they say it, this will be recorded in all the history books – who initiated it, when, and how. And we, Mr. Alabbar, could not have done this without you. It almost sounds like a joke when you say you became famous thanks to Belgrade, even though many people in the region and across Europe truly admire what you have accomplished here", Vucic added.

Vucic also said that he is proud of the Belgrade Waterfront and that he is ready, as he put it, to take responsibility for such a wonderful achievement and the magnificent legacy he is leaving to Belgrade and Serbia.

He added that many had wanted the site to remain a marshland and snake-infested area.

"I am proud of what we have done and I will be proud for the rest of my life. I continue to take full responsibility, because I believed this had to be done, and I am ready to be held accountable for such a remarkable achievement and the magnificent legacy I leave to Belgrade and Serbia", the President stated.

He emphasized that Alabbar is known for building “half of Dubai, half of Abu Dhabi, half of the Emirates.”

"People know what you are capable of and how much you can achieve. Thank you for your dedication, thank you for your effort, thank you for never blackmailing us as a country, thank you for always being supportive and helpful, and thank you for understanding the needs of our citizens", Vucic said.

Alabbar: Investments in Belgrade Waterfront have reached €5.5 billion

The founder and chairman of Eagle Hills, Mohamed Alabbar, stated that investments in the Belgrade Waterfront have reached €5.5 billion and that more than 10,000 jobs have been created.

"Some people believed in us, some did not, but look where we are now – at nearly €5.5 billion in investments. And what does that number mean? It means things have progressed much better than we initially expected,” Alabbar said.

He added that the overall economic impact of the Belgrade Waterfront investment on Serbia’s economy is three times greater, creating between €15 and €16 billion in value.

Kula Beograd – the tallest building in the former Yugoslavia

The observation deck will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with binoculars available for detailed viewing, as well as a souvenir shop and a café offering a unique view.

Access is fully adapted for families and visitors of all generations. The most modern and technologically advanced platform in the region offers an opportunity to experience Belgrade from a completely new and previously unseen perspective.

Kula Beograd, a 42-story tower standing 168 meters tall, part of the Belgrade Waterfront project on the banks of the Sava River in Belgrade, is the tallest building in the former Yugoslavia.

Kula Beograd was officially opened in September 2024 by President Aleksandar Vucic.
