Gasic received them at "Konstantin Veliki" Airport in Nis, where members of the Serbian Armed Forces arrived after spending the previous eight months engaged in the United Nations peacekeeping operation in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
The group consisted of a Force Protection Platoon from the “West” sector, tasked with security and response in complex security conditions, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defense.
“You represented the Serbian Armed Forces and our country honorably and with dignity. Despite all the challenges and dangers, we received the most positive observations and praise regarding your engagement,” Gasic said.
At Kula Beograd, within the Belgrade Waterfront complex, an observation deck was officially opened in the presence of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and the founder and chairman of Eagle Hills, Mohamed Alabbar.
