Former minister Zorana Mihajlovic said in the Sinteza show on Newsmax Balkans that Serbia should mine lithium.
She stated that we should not distance ourselves from mining, which is an integral part of the economic-industrial process, and that without lithium, there is no green agenda.
"I know there are talks about a battery factory and the production of electric vehicles in Serbia. That is indeed our future," said Mihajlovic.
As the former Minister of Construction, she pointed out that, in the case of the roof collapse in Novi Sad, which killed 15 people, there was a mistake, and that it should be sought within the profession.
She emphasized that we are all laypeople compared to the experts who should provide answers about why the roof collapsed, and believes that, despite how impatient we all are, the prosecution needs time to do its job.
The former minister also highlighted during the show that she was the only one in the Serbian government who, by her own decision, did not receive a salary.
